Iron Hands
Sons of Ferrus Manus — flesh forsaken, iron remembered
- Homeworld
- Medusa
- Primarch
- Ferrus Manus
- Motto
- “The flesh is weak”
- Colours
- Black with steel and white
The Iron Hands learned grief on Isstvan V and never forgot it. Their Primarch Ferrus Manus was killed by his own brother, and the wound he left has been welded shut with cybernetic plating in every battle-brother since. They distrust the body's frailties; they replace them. Bionic limbs, augmetic eyes, hearts of cold machine — each one a memorial, each one a vow that the failure of weakness will not be repeated. They cleave to the Adeptus Mechanicus more closely than any other Chapter. To take the colours of Medusa is to accept that the road to perfection is paved with iron. Pilgrim, if you would forsake the weak flesh, speak your oath below.
No oath has yet been spoken in the name of the Iron Hands. Be the first pilgrim.
