The Imperial Navy moves a hundred thousand vessels through the dangers of the warp, hauling regiments and tithes between stars that should never have been near enough to trade. Its battleships are kilometres-long cathedrals — gun-decks worked by hundreds of thousands of ratings, vox-howling Lord-Admirals on bridges older than nations. Without the Navy there is no Imperium.
